We’ll need to go back to 1994 for more some insight into this. Klaus Schwab is a clown compared to the real Bond-villain – George Soros. The Open Borders billionaire was able to look down-field decades ago to quietly seize the levers of power within the US political system. The was the main funder of a slew of radical leftist US District Attorneys and Secretaries of State responsible for elections and for policing. His tactics were unveiled In the 1994 book, The Alchemy of Finance. In it, Soros wrote:

The best way to persuade people to be silent when bad things are happening around them is to hide the evil in plain sight. How do you do that? Use Simulacra.
A Simulacrum is a term that describes a transformation from reality to a simulation or reflection of reality to masking reality to having no relation to reality at all.
A great modern-day example of a Simulacrum is found in the 1999 film “The Matrix.”

Carbon Dioxide – from Plant Food to Pollutant
I believe that one of the most effective current examples of a Simulacrum is that of Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW or man-made Climate Change). It’s taken decades of relentless deception and hundreds of Billions of dollars for AGW to be taken seriously, but eventually,
much of the world’s population has been convinced that Carbon Dioxide is polluting the planet and needs to be eliminated because it supposedly causes global warming…
…or was that global cooling? Not sure. Let’s just call it Climate Change.
This propaganda campaign has been so effective that collective memory has been expunged and objective evidence for global cooling or warming (take your pick) is no longer considered.
It’s how you FEEL about it.
Today’s children have been so traumatised by the propaganda surrounding Carbon Dioxide, that they cannot engage rational thought functions. They have become emotional wrecks who demand immediate climate action.
As described in a series of articles, summarised in Closing Arguments, AGW relies on the central lie of CO2 being a magical control knob for global temperature. UN IPCC models have all projected that the earth’s average temperature would continue to rise significantly, correlated with atmospheric CO2 level rises. In the period 1920 to 2005, most temperature records (land and sea) were based on temperature sensors that had inbuilt errors of at least +/- 0.5 degrees Celsius. Add to this the urban heat island effect (e.g. concrete and asphalt emitting stored heat at night) and a
“homogenisation” process that manipulated temperatures to be cooler in the 1930’s and warmer after the 1960’s.
This was done to create the illusion of a steady warming rate that correlated with the Keeling Curve (the official atmospheric CO2 level measurement which rises steadily).
Various satellite temperature measurements were also used, but they have their own sources of error.
However, the big “tell” was the trove of “Climategate” emails that unveiled the deceptive tricks used to eliminate the historical “Medieval Warm Period” (circa 1200 AD) and the “Little Ice Age” (circa 1800 AD), replacing them with the Mann “Hockey Stick” graph.
The official UN IPCC narrative is that CO2, emitted by mankind since the dawn of the industrial era is the main cause of global warming. Any other explanation has been deemed “false” by “the Science” and considered to be a “conspiracy theory.” We’ve seen that before in relation to a recent medical procedure.
In 2005, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) established the US Climate Reference Network (USCRN) – a network of modern, precise (+/- 0.1 deg C) temperature measurement stations that were situated away from urban heat islands.
I assume NOAA thought they could silence dissenting voices once and for all using precise USCRN data. One small problem became evident: the USCRN has not been able to identify a discernible rise in temperature from 2005 through 2022. In fact, the official measure has dropped since 2016.
The BIG problem for AGW proponents is that atmospheric CO2 continues to rise steadily while temperature is steady / dropping. Could there be another explanation for global temperature trends? Should global temperature control be placed at the feet of a trace gas that comprises 0.04 % of the earth’s atmosphere?
Perhaps the climate is more complex than the UN IPCC would have us believe
with temperatures having something to do with that giant nuclear fusion reactor way up there in the sky?

The scientists that have been cancelled by the establishment voices (we’ve also seen that before), believe that the earth’s climate system is very complex and that solar irradiance is a much bigger factor than that assumed by UN IPCC modellers. Global temperatures are rising (we are emerging from a Little Ice Age, after all), but not like we are being told. As I wrote about over 2.5 years ago, the earth has warmed slightly, but we are now heading toward a “Grand Solar Minimum” which could last for several decades with temperatures beginning to fall, commencing in 2020. Solar activity was predicted (by these scientists) to have a much larger impact on global temperatures than CO2 can have. They provided some warnings about this future cooling period in a recent article.

Despite all of this evidence, what have our nations’ leaders done?
My friend, Richard has produced a diagram that displays just how ludicrous the actions are of leaders who are either totally corrupt, bereft of any intelligence or both.
There is a global push to eliminate fossil fuel usage by 2030, if possible, no matter what the data are saying. We can see this through ludicrous policies. Electricity costs have risen dramatically over the past few years as a result.
AGW is a scam designed to impoverish the middle class of Western Nations while enriching globalist elites with shares in subsidised renewables technologies and helping the Chinese Communist Party to be established as the global hegemony.
If global warming were really causing major issues, it would be a simple case of trotting out the data. Instead, we get baseless claims like this article from the Climate Council. Where is the acceleration in global warming? It’s not in the data.
Pure Simulacrity!
Rather, the acceleration is in Government policies; they are in a rush to destroy Australia’s fossil fuel industries.
Industries along the coal and oil chain will be bled dry within a few years. Industry needs reliable baseload power to operate and it will be severely challenged with these draconian reduction targets. This is industrial genocide.
In the third phase of a Simulacrum, we see a masking of reality.
When the image deviates too far from reality and begins to show its logical inconsistencies, proponents attempt to use pathos as a primary rhetorical device, rather than logos or ethos to persuade the masses.
Where an effective propaganda campaign has been deployed in parallel, many will remain entranced by the Simulacrum.
Here is an apt example from XXXX Brewing company.
“If you’re not convinced by now to do your bit for the world, then for XXXX sake, do it for the beer!”
This is an appeal to emotion and a false morality. In other words, If you don’t care enough about the environment to fully buy into the AGW narrative, you are a bad person.
Although this sounds ominous, reflecting the third stage of Simulacra, it also shows that the regime has lost the rational argument for AGW and must now rely on emotion and force (e.g. Labor’s CO2 reduction mandates) to get its way. There is good reason to be positive about the situation.
It is true that hops production may be affected in the future, but it would be from colder weather, not hotter.
Cold weather kills 20 times as many people as hot weather, according to an international study analyzing over 74 million deaths in 384 locations across 13 countries. The findings also reveal that deaths due to moderately hot or cold weather substantially exceed those resulting from extreme heat waves or cold spells.
What is it going to take for the population to wake up and stop the madness? Perhaps a unfortunate spate of deaths from cold weather will be necessary to awaken the masses.
