It’s becoming exceedingly difficult to make sense of what’s going on in the world today.
How can current events, especially in the Middle East, be understood?
A diversity of mental models offer insight to complex situations. I’d like to offer a few that you may not have considered.
Trump’s Abraham Accords (2020) had normalised relationships between Israel and the UAE and Bahrain. This robbed Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas of significant power and influence in the Middle East. Whatever triggered the October 7 Israel attack, there can be no doubt that the actions of Hamas terrorists were abhorrent. However, I believe that the rapes, beheadings and abductions of Israeli women and children had one primary purpose – WAR!
Further peace talks in the Middle East are now a dim memory.
One person who knew a thing or two about war was Sun Tzu.
This Chinese general and military strategist penned the ancient military treatise – The Art of War – around 500 BC.
Tzu provided many effective military tactics including:
- Supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting.
- The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.
- Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.
- The greatest victory is that which requires no battle.
The CCP’s unrestricted war on the West
The CCP has been waging unrestricted warfare with the US for over 100 years. Unrestricted warfare consists of many asymmetrical tactics including political, information, economic, drug and espionage warfare,
In this video, commencing at the 28:30 min mark, the Epoch Times journalist Joshua Phillip describes how the CCP has, for decades, planned for the USA to be drawn into four war fronts.
The purpose? To overcome the USA’s military superiority and ultimately topple their global hegemony.
Russia – Ukraine is one war.
If it escalates, war in the Middle East is a second.
Between Oct 7 and 31, US troops in the Middle East have been attacked 25 times.
The Chinese Communist Party’s invasion of Taiwan would be a third.
The fourth is unknown as yet, although it may well be a terror war within the borders of the USA.
Don’t try smuggling a salami stick through customs and immigration at the airport!
As written in my (Nov 2022) article, Space-Time millions of illegal aliens have already crossed the US southern border since the 2020 election, including an untold number of “got-aways”. It is likely that thousands of terrorists are now embedded within sleeper cells in America’s heartland.
FBI Director Christopher Wray warns terror threat to Americans at a ‘whole other level.’
Information Warfare
On Oct 17 an explosion was reported from the al Ahli hospital in Gaza. Legacy media and pro-Palestinian politicians immediately ran with the Hamas claim of an Israeli air strike. This narrative was used to fuel enormous global antisemitic sentiment.
All available evidence points to a failed Hamas rocket, crashing into the hospital carpark, killing Palestinians seeking shelter.
EU funded water pipelines despite Hamas boast it could turn them into rockets.
What could go wrong with that?
This is not an isolated incident. Hamas has built its tunnel complex beneath hospitals and other critical infrastructure within Gaza in order to use Palestinian civilians as human shields.
This includes Shifa, the main hospital in Gaza.
Surprise! Surprise! A key Hamas architect of the Oct 7 atrocities was just killed by the IDF, hiding in a refugee camp.
The problem with this kind of information warfare is that once a kinetic war is instigated, it can be almost impossible to stop.
Cultural Revolution
Half of American college age students currently believe that Israel is to blame for the Oct 7 Hamas attack.
The last five minutes of this Charlie Kirk podcast (30:30 min mark) mentions but a few of the radical professors indoctrinating young Americans today.
University professors who support Hamas:
Jemma Decristo (University of California – Davis)
Joseph Massad (Columbia University)
Zareena Grewal (Yale University)
Ameer Hasan Loggins (Stanford University)
Nina Farnia (University of Albany, NY)
Russell Rickford (Cornell University)
Christine Sahin (University of Washington)
And what can a student expect to receive from a $50,000 per year ivy league university education?
Antisemitic, woke indoctrination.
The combination of woke professors and CCP-sponsored Tik-Tok as the “#1 search engine for more than half of Gen Z” does not bode well for America’s future. This type of information warfare has been used against the US for decades.
I guess this explains the views of over-educated US students, contrasted with that of courageous Arabs in the Middle-East.
“Everyone should recognize that Israel is here to stay.
The agreements are the future.”
Dr. Ali Rashid al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Arab Federation’s Foreign Affairs, Interior and Defense Committee.

In Sustainable, I explained Dr. James Lindsay’s analysis of the relationship being forged between the CCP and global elites in the interest of toppling the USA and ushering in the New World Order.
To this point of this article, the focus has been the CCP’s contribution to the relationship. Let’s now take a deeper look into the Rest of the World. This diagram is adapted from the article Vortex.
Woke Marxism has many tools in its toolbox.
One that has not yet been explored is …
Decolonisation
There is no doubt that some colonisers performed atrocious acts. However, colonisation has delivered many significant societal benefits. Education, healthcare, technology, democracy and more have all resulted from the process of colonisation, bringing longer life expectancy and much relief from poverty and illness.
Australia’s recent “Voice” referendum was this nation’s attempt to legitimise the process of decolonisation through the constitution. Thankfully, the Australian people voted against it by 61% to 39%. What is troubling, however, is that the younger the voter, the more likely to vote for the decolonisation agenda, especially among the wealthy university-educated. Are you seeing a trend here?
Dr. James Lindsay summarises “decolonisation” in this brief “Bullet” podcast explaining how violence is seen as a necessary element of decolonisation.
More detail on the topic can be found in The Violence of Decolonisation.
From Lindsay’s web-site we read:
“Given recent events in the Middle East, in which Woke Marxists throughout the world have indicated their total alignment with Palestine against Israel even in light of atrocities, the idea of “decolonization” is back in the center stage. Academics and activists across the West are not only celebratory of the violence in Israel; they are also mocking the general public for failing to realize that “decolonization” is intrinsically a violent, brutal process. What’s going on here? Where do these ideas come from? The answer is that these ideas come from a postcolonialist named Frantz Fanon, who wrote his radical and troubling books in the 1950s and 1960s. These have become the academic gold standard for generations of radicals ever since. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay reads through French Marxist Jean-Paul Sartre’s famous summary of Fanon’s Wretched of the Earth and shows that decolonization is little more than a Gnostic rebirth ritual perpetrated through murder.”
A brief excerpt of Satre’s preface to Fanon’s work (from marxist.org) is provided below:
“They would do well to read Fanon; for he shows clearly that this irrepressible violence is … man re-creating himself [gnostic belief]. … The native cures himself of colonial neurosis by thrusting out the settler through force of arms. When his rage boils over, he rediscovers his lost innocence and he comes to know himself in that he himself creates his self. … For in the first days of the revolt you must kill: to shoot down a European is to kill two birds with one stone, to destroy an oppressor and the man he oppresses at the same time: there remain a dead man, and a free man; the survivor, for the first time, feels a national soil under his foot.”
Satre and Fanon explain perfectly the brutality demonstrated by Hamas during the Oct 7 rapes, beheadings, immolation and kidnappings.
I just heard about the case of a baby burnt alive in an oven. There are no words.
The atrocities are central to the decolonisation agenda and also play into the information war.
As described by Lindsay, the left seeks a reaction, or rather, an over-reaction that can be leveraged in the media to further its cause.
“Leftist activism is happy to take direct wins whenever it can get them, but that’s not always possible. When it can’t get direct wins through the front door, it is also more than happy to get its wins through the back door by exploiting what we can call an action-reaction dynamic. As an act of dialectical political warfare, which is their battle logic, Leftist agitators will provoke a reaction, control the framing around that reaction to a watching audience, and use the reaction as justification to advance their cause. This strategy was articulated by Saul Alinsky as “your enemy’s reaction is your real action,” and it forms a backbone for a Leftist two-step of provoke, then advance.
Is Middle-East peace possible at this time?
Many progressives are demanding a ceasefire, as the Israeli Defense Force invades Gaza, seeking to eliminate future threats from Hamas.
“Calls for a cease-fire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism. That will not happen,”
Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Many have called for a proportional response to the October 7 attack.
But what is proportional to babies being beheaded in their beds or burnt alive in ovens and dead bodies being raped?

Editorial Update 4 Nov:
Victor Davis Hanson: The Real Story Behind the Hamas Terror Attack on Israel
“We had a situation in a time of peace where a thousand people were mutilated and butchered before the IDF responded. And yet, that ignited these people on the campus to root for the people who were murdering and beheading.”
To make sense of the realities of the Israel–Hamas war, Epoch Times senor editor, Jan Jekielek sat down with classicist and military historian Victor Davis Hanson, bestselling author of a number of books including “The Dying Citizen” and the upcoming book “The End of Everything: How Wars Descend Into Annihilation.”
Did Hamas miscalculate Israel’s response? Will Hezbollah intervene? What is Iran’s play now? And what do many in the West misunderstand about Israel and Hamas?
“A lot of people apply rules to the Jewish state they would never apply to any other ally. And that explains the schizophrenia that we have,” Mr. Hanson says.

Summary
The CCP is planning to topple the USA by stoking multiple war fronts. Globalist elites seek a common goal through a decolonisation agenda; destroying America from within. Both elements seem to be animated by the spirit of the Anti-Christ.
We are witnessing a massive spiritual battle.
We all deserve to die for our sins. However, Jesus of Nazareth – a Jew – died in our place so that we could receive eternal life.
We all deserve justice – death. Instead, we receive mercy – life.
That’s not proportional.
It’s the immeasurable gift of God.
I’d like to end this article with a look to the future…
Biblical prophecy predicts a collaboration of enemy armies encircling Israel in the Day of the Lord. Some of these collaborations will be impossible to understand.
My next article will focus on Queer Gnosticism in an attempt to explain this.
Stay tuned.
